UTILITY SHUTDOWNS:
- There are no utility shut-downs planned for this period.
WORK AREAS:
Rugby Field
- Corrective work for drainage at the connection between the
rugby lot and the Dupont Visitors lot was completed.
Cornell Library
- Excavation and shoring at the south end of Cornell will
continue during the early part of week of 21 January in
conjunction with on-going building foundation work.
Chiller Plant
- Footings are underway and will continue through this
period.
PEDESTRIAN / VEHICULAR ACCESS:
- Parking along Whittier Place is prohibited during the hours of
7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
NOISE, VIBRATION, DUST, ODORS
- There will be intermittent noise in the form of loud banging
due to the shoring installation between Martin and Cornell from
now through the middle of next week. This has caused vibrations
in adjacent buildings.
DELIVERIES / HEAVY EQUIPMENT:
- Expect deliveries of reinforcing steel and concrete throughout
this period. There will also be movement of dump trucks around
the site.
