There will be a short quiz at the beginning of class every Monday or Tuesday. These quizzes will cover material covered in the previous week. There will be no make-up quizzes for missed quizzes. You will be allowed to drop the two lowest quiz grades at the end of the semester; if you miss a quiz it will be treated as a dropped quiz.
There will be two midterms during the semester timed so that they give you a good flow of information about your performance in the course. The midterms will not be cumulative but the final exam will be.
