Economics 73: Race, Ethnicity and Gender in
Economics
In this course we focus on the role of
gender and race in economic systems. Topics include: the economic
status of women and minorities; sources of race and gender
inequality, including wage and job discrimination; public policy
issues (e.g., comparable worth, child care, welfare reform); and bias
in economic theory and policy.
